Q: What is Strong's regulatory status?
A: Strong maintains all registrations and permits for processing
your material. At a federal level, this includes our DEA Registration, DOT
Hazardous Materials Registration and EPA
Permit. Additionally, we maintain most state and
territory permits, such as New
Jersey A-901, and Puerto
Rico ASSMCA (DEA).
Q. Can you ship both Controlled and Non-Controlled materials?
What about mixed with EPA hazardous items?
A. In both cases, yes. Because we will ship your product directly
from your dock to the incinerator, this is routinely accomplished.
Q: Does Strong handle less than truckload quantities, as
well as full truckloads?
A: Our reputation
is based on providing a wide range of disposal services for any
quantity of waste. We do not set limitations on the amount we
service.

Q: As a Reverse Distributor, do you process returns
for credit value?
A: No, Strong does not function as a warehouse returns-for-credit operation.
Strong pioneered the concept of "Direct to Destruction." We deal exclusively
with the absolute documented destruction of every type pharmaceutical waste
from Manufacturers, Distributors, FDA (recalls and seizures) and DEA (Seizures).
Q: Can Strong provide classification services per NDC or UPC for EPA, DOT, DEA and State regulations?
A: Yes. Over fourteen years of experience profiling, characterizing and disposal at every major hazardous and non-hazardous incinerator has been compiled and databased. Our destruction clients can be absolutely assured of proper disposal classification.

Q: Are your environmental decision makers properly trained in key areas
of the waste management field, such as RCRA, DOT, and OSHA?
A: The waste management field is constantly changing. Strong
takes great pride in assuring our staff is up to
speed on new regulations and technologies that directly affect
the industry. All of our sales and support staff have completed
40-hour HAZWOPER training and an 8-hour yearly refresher, go
through extensive DOT training and are constantly broadening
their knowledge base through credentials such as CHMM, CHMP,
REM, CESM and AEP certifications.
Q. What exactly does your DEA registration allow?
A. Strong is registered with the U.S. DEA to handle the destruction
of ALL controlled substances and listed chemicals. Furthermore,
the Strong staff is fully trained in the requirements of EPA,
DEA, FDA, ATF and DOT, so we can assist you in dealing with the
overlap between these government entities.
Q. How secure is your transportation to the facility?
A. Our secured transportation services have satellite tracking
and follow a developed SOP for high security loads. Each trailer
is uniquely tagged and locked, and every transporter is pre-authorized
by DEA for use by Strong.
Q: Does Strong only service clients in the United States?
A: Strong has global experience with Fortune 500, national and
international clientele in Europe, Puerto Rico, Canada
and Australia.
Q: What is meant by "readily retrievable?"
A: The
term, as defined by the DEA, means that the record is kept or
maintained in such a manner that it can be separated out from
all other records in a reasonable time and/or that it is identified
by an asterisk, redline or some other identifiable manner, so
that it is easily distinguishable from all other records.
